Horde Level Guide Still The Easiest Way To Level
Horde Level Guide Still The Easiest Way To Level
There have been many changes over the years with World of Warcraft and while at one point and time, leveling was all about grinding, and grinding until your eyes popped, luckily those days are past. Once quests became better for leveling than killing mobs the first horde level guide came out and many followed in its wake. Well, times have changed again for the Horde and now instancing is one of the easiest and close to fastest ways to level. However, you really don't want to do that, at least not all the time, and I will tell you why.
Dungeons can be wearing and frustrating especially when heals won't heal, tank won't hold agro, and dps is not going pew pew, some days are just like that. There is also a little catch that many don't find until they are near 80 and try and find their way into Sholazar Basin or discover the only flightpath they have in Borean Tundra is the start area. That's right, queue in the dungeon finder and you get taken to those exotic dungeons full of monsters out to kill you, but you may well have no clue what map that dungeon is on, much less how to get back there. Use a horde level guide instead and you will have every flight path and a whole lot of reputation as well.
Leveling guides have kept up with the times too. Although they may require a little bit more effort than instancing your way to 80, the will leave you with a bank full of gold, some nice fresh blues and plenty of that awesome rep that ever 80 craves. So the question is more about which to choose, than whether to use one. That is if you want more than a flight path to Vengeance Bay when you hit 80.
Prime Horde level guides will have a specialized ingame interface and some of them have auto detect quest completion, this is a nice addition in case you are prone to forgetting to scroll. There is one excellent level guide that will skip quests that you are too high level for and only display those appropriate for your level. Along with the ingame guide and the improved and smarter directional arrow some of these guides also include build in talent guides that will auto select the talents appropriate for your selected build.
This in game talent guide can save a lot of gold for any player who often puts one point in the wrong spot or who just does't want to mess with placing talent points. Changing talents due to an error can be a costly affair once it reaches 50 gold each time. Combine the smarter ingame guide with the and the smart talent choices for leveling and the guides can make for some super fast leveling.
Some level guides will also come with a free trial or try it before you buy it feature. These usually do not require a credit card and can give the player a realistic idea of what each level guide does. The early levels are much simpler and faster but still a preview of the leveling guide can help narrow down the choices drastically.

Figure Skating Boot Soles too rotted out or can I still mount blades on them?
My neighbor is selling these SP Teri super deluxe boots for a bargain price. I want to buy them, but I'm worried that the soles are too rooted out to have blades mounted on them. But then again, I don't know anything about remounting! The sole is stacked leather btw Here is the photo

They don't look rotted, just discolored. If the leather around the blade holes is crumbly and soft, then there's a problem, but I can't tell that from the photo. They just look blackened, which is what happens from normal use, even with diligent waterproofing.
Go to a good skate tech. S/he can plug the holes and level the soles, which will get rid of any potential rot. Waterproof or sno-seal the soles before having the blades mounted. Unless you get very lucky and buy blades with the exact same hole pattern, it would be unusual for new blades to align with the existing holes anyway.
More importantly - check for boot breakdown. If you can easily bend the sides or if there are deep creases, they may be too soft for you. Also watch for uprightness - if the boot is leaning one way or another, it may be broken down on one side, which happens a lot from flying jumps.
