Nissan Micra cross member replacement?
Hello
My micra just failed an mot for a rusted front cross member (not accident or anything) and they say its too bad to repair so needs replacing. They quoted £400 for anew cross-member for parts and fitting and I was just wondering if this sounds right?
It seems a bit expensive to me but I know its a big job... just wondering if anyone had any thoughts about this price.

Since it isn't my car, I really don't care what it costs. Therefore I have no thoughts or feelings about it one way or another. I suppose if I did care, I might start by asking how much of that is the part, and how much is labor. Then I might call Nissan and see how much they want for the part.
Or just pay it and be happy.
