Cutting Up Food with Kitchenaid Knives
The KitchenAid brand is a division of the Whirlpool Corporation, which markets quite a few types of cooking and countertop appliances, food preparation and ventilation products in addition to other cooking essentials. Of course, what respectable culinary company does not offer cutlery among its kitchen essentials? Ergo, customers are treated to the KitchenAid knife set that promises chopping, dicing and slicing in a fashionable manner. A great specific set to consider is the Kitchenaid 14 Piece Cutlery Set With Steak Knife Block.
Product Features
According to its website, KitchenAid cutlery is separated into four series: Professional Series, Professional Series Stainless Steel, Cook’s Series and Carousel Sets. The common attributes of all this company’s knives seem to be the contoured handles for a secure grip and accurate cutting and also the high-carbon stainless steel blades with wonderfully sharp edges.
The components of a KitchenAid knife set usually include a chef’s knife, a slicer knife, a santoku knife, a utility knife, a paring knife, steak knives, kitchen shears and sharpening steel, every one of which are able to be secured in a wooden knife box. The knife handles are made using two kinds of materials – rubber and stainless steel.
KitchenAid knife handles are available in either black or silver, with one style in orange, which compliments any kitchen style. The wood blocks also show off KitchenAid’s logo so basically you might have a brand-coordinated workspace if you would like to.
Advantages
A kitchen knife is naturally only as good as its ability to cleave through meat or vegetables, and those knives in a KitchenAid knife set never fail to perform for this purpose. The forged construction in addition to the high-carbon stainless steel components offer you top quality knives at an affordable price. A nice option for you is the Kitchenaid 14 Pc Cutlery Set.
The full tang construction and the triple-riveted grips produce virtually perfect balance and weight. Why not absolutely perfect? Unfortunately, it is not designed to function as well in a cooking school as it can in your home.
One of KitchenAid’s knife series includes a snap-on steak knife block, which makes for quick table setting. For more relaxed affairs such as a barbecue, you could simply remove the block complete with steak knives, locate it next to the other flatware and enable guests to pull out the knives any time they have a use for them.
Additionally, the knives in this KitchenAid knife set are arranged such that the steak knives are separate from the food prep knives. As a result, the possibility of cross-contaminating bacteria is diminished.
With the amount of knives in every set, you might at least pretend that you know what you’re doing in the kitchen even if you don’t know a paring knife from a slicer. Plus, it does look impressive sitting on the countertop.
Disadvantages
Despite the fact that this company claims that their products are dishwasher-friendly and can resist rust and stains, you ought never base your actions on that information. Even high-end knives can rust and stain as they are exposed to the severe dishwasher chemicals over and over again.
Also, the sheer variety of the distinctive knives might frighten the inexperienced knife wielder. If you are one, it’s almost always recommended to secure a couple of basic knives and then acquire additional knives as you decide you need them.
All in all, the Kitchenaid 14 Piece Cutlery Set With Steak Knife Block can be a sensible investment. KitchenAid is not the most stylish product in the knife industry, but with its comfortable price, good quality and good presentation, it’s still a good choice for anyone who just wishes to chop some chicken neatly.
