Microdermabrasion Home Kit Guide:
Microdermabrasion home kits are among the bestselling skin care kits today. Depending on how frequently and the way you use your skincare kit, the effectiveness of the microdermabrasion home kit will be affected on how you use it.
Here is a quick guide on using a microdermabrasion kit for maximum benefit:
1. Settle for a high quality microdermabrasion home kit. Microdermabrasion kits are not created equal. While higher priced kits are usually better, there are also good ones in the middle and lower end of the scale. In general, choose a microdermabrasion home kit that has a moisturizing resurfacing cream and a resurfacing tool. A set of sponge applicators should also be included in the set. These are imperative because they will replace the fine crystals used in most skin care clinics.
2. Before using, it is advisable to read and know your home kit. Most home kits will instruct you to use their tools during cleansing. Washing your face with water is usually required before starting the procedure. Shy away from soap as it can irritate your skin and be in conflict against your microdermabrasion cream. If your kit has a resurfacing tool, you must dip it lightly in the microdermabrasion cream after attaching the sponge applicator.
3. Apply the cream and lightly glide the resurfacing tool. Avoid scrubbing your face with the resufacing tool. Most creams and tools in microdermabrasion kits are designed to gently polish your skin’s surface – let them do the job. Activating your resurfacing tool and gently massage your face with it. Vibration is normal. Avoid sensitive areas such as eyes and mouth to avoid possible irritation.
4. Right after rinsing your face, apply moisturizer. Rinse your face with warm water, pat dry, and moisturize your skin. It is best to follow a schedule for using your microdermabrasion kit especially if your skin is sensitive and prone to irritation. Sun exposure should be limited.
5. Wash, clean, and store your microdermabrasion machines or kit properly. Clean the resurfacing tool and sponge applicators after every use with warm water and mild antibacterial or disinfectant soap. It is also important to let them dry thoroughly before storing to prevent bacterial growth.

does anybody know how to glue a piece of clear plastic (e.g. a window on a car) to the body of the car without ruining the clear plastic?

@Terry Is Elmer's Glue called something different in the UK? Is it like PVA glue?
I've been building for over 40 years and the best I've ever found for windows is plain old Elmer's Glue. It wipes off with a damp cloth while still wet, and it dries clear. As with any glue, use it sparingly. Use a toothpick to apply glue to the edges of individual windows and tape or clamp it all into place until the glue dries, (usually over night). Even after it's dry you can still trim excess glue with an xacto knife if you have a steady hand. Hope this tip helps.
